White Tara

In Tibetan Buddhism and Hinduism, White Tara is a highly esteemed goddess who symbolises healing, longevity, and compassion. She is frequently shown in a calm pose, with seven eyes—one on each hand, foot, and forehead—symbolizing her awareness of and capacity to see suffering in the world. Wearing flowing white robes, White Tara's four arms are filled with symbolic items such as a vase containing the elixir of immortality and a blue lotus. In order to get blessings, protection, and help conquering hurdles on the way to enlightenment, devotees turn to her.
